Revitalization as trend of preserving monuments of religious architecture (case study of Persian Mosque in Astrakhan)

The article focuses on the importance of religious architectural monuments for spiritual, cultural and social life city its inhabitants. There are highlighted problems using investment mechanisms to finance restoration works at these historical sites. analysis ethnic diversity population in Astrakhan region is carried out, significance Persian Mosque Muslim society substantiated. On basis archival documents, history mosque creation, main structural characteristics, as well exploitation XX century studied. current state Mosque, measurements photofixation were defects decorative elements revealed, a conclusion about unsatisfactory condition monument was made. According studied material ancient modern buildings, there has been developed concept integral reconstruction building including solutions lost parts building, such hemispherical dome four minarets corners general retaining original look object, taking into account all legislation requirements working with heritage objects.
